Chiropractic care is a form of healthcare that focuses on the relationship between the spine and nervous system. Dr. Kristen uses a variety of manual techniques, such as spinal adjustments, to restore proper alignment to the spine and improve the function of the nervous system. By correcting subluxations in the spine, Dr. Kristen can alleviate pain, improve range of motion, and enhance overall well-being.
The most asked question by far, During a chiropractic adjustment, it is common to hear a popping or cracking sound. This sound is usually the result of a sudden, controlled movement of the joint, which causes a release of gas bubbles that are trapped within the joint. The sound itself is not an indication of whether the adjustment was successful or not. However, it can be a reassuring sign to patients that the joint has been properly mobilized and may result in an immediate feeling of relief or increased range of motion. It's important to note that not all chiropractic adjustments result in an audible sound, and the absence of a sound does not necessarily mean that the adjustment was unsuccessful.
